Job Title: Senior Water Treatment Technician
Location: Cambridgeshire, Suffolk and surrounding areas
Hours: Full-Time – 40 hours per week

What You’ll Do
- Travel to various sites each day (company vehicle provided after training)
- Servicing, testing and dosing of closed systems (e.g., heating/chilled water), including sampling, analysis and corrective actions
- Steam boiler water treatment, including routine testing, blowdown advice, chemical control and troubleshooting (where within role scope)
- Installation, commissioning, servicing and fault-finding of chemical dosing units, including (but not limited to):
- Chlorine Dioxide (ClO₂) systems
- Silver Stabilised Hydrogen Peroxide systems
- Ultralox and other disinfection/dosing technologies
- Servicing and maintaining filtration systems (cartridge changes, bag filters, strainers, backwash filters, differential pressure checks, etc.)
- Servicing and performance checks on UV systems (lamp changes, quartz sleeve cleaning, intensity/alarm checks)
- Servicing, monitoring and basic fault finding on RO (Reverse Osmosis), DI (Deionisation) and associated treatment equipment (pre-treatment, membranes/resins, instrumentation, output verification)
- Completing on-site documentation, test records and reports accurately and on time
- Ensuring compliance with relevant guidance, safe systems of work, and COSHH when handling chemicals
- Liaising with clients, account managers and internal teams to plan remedial actions and follow-up works
- Maintaining equipment, stock, calibration where applicable, and good housekeeping within the vehicle and on site
What We’re Looking For
- A full UK driving licence (essential)
- Reliability and strong work ethic
- Confidence to work independently once trained
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Ability to follow processes and work safely
- Water treatment qualifications / training and experience (Essential)
- Knowledge of Legionella guidance and water safety best practice (Essential)
- Mechanical/ electrical aptitude for pump, controller and instrumentation fault finding (Essential)
